A User qualification code classifies all tests. This test requires QUALIFICATION LEVEL B.

This test measures phonological awareness ability in Spanish-speaking children. It can be used to help identify children who may benefit from instructional activities to enhance their phonological abilities and aid reading instruction.

The subtests consist of:

• Initial Sounds: a second word beginning with the same sound as target word
• Final Sounds: a second word ending with the same sound as target word
• Rhyming Words: a second word rhyming or sounding like the target word
• Deletions: leaving out a syllable or sound at the beginning, middle, or end of the word.

Provides subset-scaled scores and a composite ability score.

Kit includes: Examiner's Manual and 25 Examiner Record Booklets, in a sturdy storage box.
