Fifty-two maps of actual and fictional parks, regions, streets, states, countries, and the world teach that there is more to mapping than fold-up road maps and spinning globes. When the exercises are completed, students will be able to use directional words and indicators, recognize picture symbols used on maps, identify routes from place to place, and use a map grid.
