This is the ESL Literacy Scales Plasticized Administration and Instruction Card. The ESL Literacy Scales Testing Booklets come in a pack of 25. The ELS is an assessment tool for quickly identifying the appropriate starting level for ESL and literacy instruction. It was developed and field-tested over a five-year period with adult school students of many backgrounds, including Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, and European. Subtests include Listening Comprehension, Grammar, Life Skills, Reading Comprehension, and Composition.

• Test results charted on a profile
• Places students in Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced ESL class levels
• Brief individual screening prior to group administration
