Making a Difference

During a middle schooler’s pretest consultation, Mom cried and told me that dropping her off at school feels like “dropping her in the middle of the ocean and telling her to tread water for 8 hours until I can pick her up”.
Mom pulled her out of school for the remainder of the year and had her come to us for instruction in Seeing Stars and On Cloud Nine math. Not only did her sensory-cognitive functions improve, but her confidence did as well!

Mom said she was finally brave enough to try out for softball and is the only kid on the team who doesn’t get discouraged when she makes mistakes because she learned from Lindamood-Bell that it’s okay to make mistakes and try things that are hard for you.
