The TOMA-3 measures math performance in the two traditional skill areas in math (story problems and computation) as well as attitude, concepts, and everyday applications of math. The TOMA-3 has five subtests, four in the core battery (Mathematical Symbols and Concepts, Computation, Mathematics in Everyday Life, and Story Problems) and one supplemental subtest (Attitude Toward Math).
The TOMA-3 has been updated, and two of the five subtests have changed. (The Mathematics in Everyday Life subtest replaces the old General Information subtest, and the Mathematical Symbols and Concepts subtest replaces the old Vocabulary subtest). The TOMA-3 features all new normative data collected from a demographically representative sample of the 2011 U.S. school age population. Validity studies, including sensitivity, specificity, and ROC/AUC, have been provided.
Provides percentile, standard scores, and age and grade equivalents.
